Stated uses
Every product below appears under a use because its own FDA label says so, in the Uses statement the labeller filed. Nothing here is our categorisation of what a lozenge is good for.
A use is not a recommendation. These pages report what a manufacturer put on a label and had to defend to FDA. They do not say a product works, do not compare products, and do not suggest one for anybody. If you want to know what to take, ask a pharmacist. That is what they are for and it is free.

Purposes, as the Drug Facts panel states them
The Purpose line names what the active ingredient does, in the vocabulary the monograph gives it. It is a regulatory category rather than a complaint, and it is kept separate from the uses above for that reason.
